About Us
Our Story
Kingwood Taxidermy was founded by taxidermist Michael Reed — a lifelong hunter who understands firsthand what it means to bring home a trophy worth preserving. We are a family-run shop that has the utmost respect for the community we live in and our customers, whether local or just visiting. We strive to be the most respected taxidermy studio in the Kingwood area.
We believe every mount tells a story — the early mornings, the patience, the moment. Our job is to honor that story with craftsmanship that lasts a lifetime. We don't rush our work, and we don't cut corners. Every piece that leaves our studio is something we're proud to put our name on.
We work exclusively with hunters and sportsmen who care about quality. We believe everyone should be able to afford a whitetail shoulder mount so we try to keep whitetail priced below our competitors without sacrificing quality because to us taxidermy is art. If you want your trophy done right — the first time — bring it to Kingwood Taxidermy where we would love to earn your business.
